Not Thursday Night - More like Wednesday

Please note revised post title. Clearly I have no idea what day it even is.

Dave and I went to dinner at a movie last night. Dinner was good. Movie was eh.

We went to Nolita House.

We started with Carnitas Tacos.

I had the mussels special.

Dave had ribs.

We both had ice cream.

I have done virtually zero working out (save walking here and there) lately and that is NOT GOOD. I need to go back to Zumba. My gym now has a class but I'm pretty sure it won't hold a candle to Ben's.

Work has been so insane I feel like I could drink a vat of wine. I am going to trivia night in NJ - heading out in just a few - working from home tomorrow. There is crazy stormy weather her in NY now. I hope I don't get washed away.

I'm really sorry I've been such a mediocre blogger. :( Hopefully things will ease up somewhere soon.

We went to see Solitary Man. It was quite cringeworthy and depressing actually.

And the fact that Jenna Fischer was in it had nothing to do with why I went to see it.

At all. :)

Did I ever tell you about that time I met Michael Douglas in person and had 42 Cosmos beforehand? He was very gracious and practically patted my head when he realized my condition.

Class act right here.

  1. Hahahaha. Very funny. Ribs look yummy. I am becoming very curious about this Dave character...;)

  2. It's very true. He has a hotel in Bermuda and was at this event promoting it. I got kind of schnockered at the reception (the drinks were yummy and FREE!) so by the time I got to meet him I was nearly incoherent. This is why I like to keep my celebrity sightings at a distance.

And ha!! Yeah he's been hanging around a lot lately. :)

  3. That is so sweet about Michael Douglas. :)

Have you mentioned how you met Dave? If you have, I don't recall. Please share (again?) if you don't mind sharing.

  4. Kev - I was a mess and a half but he really was charming.

I met Dave on eHarmony - after much trial and error. :)
