Oh. My.


This bread...this gloriously delicious bread. So easy to make, it just takes time and patience.

I really don't quite believe it was me who baked it.

It took a day to get it ready but once out of the oven I could not wait another second.

and lunch is served:

Honey turkey, swiss, spinach and honey mustard on HOMEMADE bread

It tastes kind of like sourdough and it's crusty, chewy and freaking phenomenal.

In his cookbook, Mark Bittman promised it would blow my mind.

Mission accomplished.
